K1 Scandinavia Rumble Of The Kings results and the report

On November 20th Friday, a cold rainy afternoon K1 Scandinavia “Rumble of The Kings” has taken in Stockholm Sweden. Swedish mma is in the permission process to be admitted in Swedish law. They have been discussing the lisence for these couple of years. But via satelite channels people can enjoy UFC,TUF and lots of other mma sports which often on air in midnight. IFL has been known among children too. There are 2 main mma shows in Sweden named Superior Challenge and The Zone. In these mma streams K1 Scandinavia has started mma mixed event with kickboxing a couple of years ago. In the night 3 mma matches with Joakim Engberg, Jorgen Kruth and Ilir Latifi were performed. 3 VBC kings Jorgen Kruth, Rickard Nordstrand and Oakim Karlsson. Artur Kyshenko, Gago Drago, Jaime Flecher, Clifron Brown and David Gardner joined the show. In the full house of Hovet ice hockey arena,5500 seats sold out, audience has enjoyed 10 kickboxings and 3 mma fights. Asgard sends the results and the short report.

-67kg Female Muaythai 2min x 5rd Magdalena Kowalczyk Vallentuna Boxing Club has defeated Lina Länsberg cornered by Larry Lindvall by judge point 3-0. Magdalena showing the powerful strikes and kicks has lead most of the games.

-63.5kg Daniel Teymur had defeated Marin Akhtar in judge 3-0

-63.5kg Nils Widlend has defeated Alex Kazemi. TKO kick to the right rib Refree stop.

-67kg David Teymur defeated Rhassan Muhareb
Teymur has speed and the agressive strikes chasing hard the European kick champ Muhareb. 1RD Teymur hits a sharp 1-2 combi plus kick made Muhareb 1 down. Tough Muhareb comes back but in the 2rd Teymur gives him another down hitting a hard right. Audience gets heat up in this competitive hot game. Veteran Muhareb sucking up the pressure hits back Teymur hard and makes him down. Judge went to Teymur 3-0 a very good fight.

-76kg Petter Juuhl has defeated Oakim Karlsson in TKO
2RD Karlsson starts to shoot Juuhl to finish the game hard. Juuhl gets blown away by Karlsson’s heavy right hand. Local Karlsson’s fan screams. But tough Juuhl comes back to pay off the game. In the great scramble Karlsson chasing hard Juuhl hits a sharp right in the big upset sent Karlsson in KO to the mat. People screams.

-74kg World top ranker Artur Kyshenko defeated Abbe Joof in judge. Kyshenko is a young upcoming fighter welknown in the devastated strikes and the artistic sharp kicks which can be the top 3 most talented in the world in his weight class. So this game could be estimated to be a hard match for Joof. But Joof in good shape from the beginning attacks Kyshenko in tremendous onslaught makes the 1RD and 2RD almost even. In the Joof’s intensive attacks Artur Kyshenko the kickboxing prince of Ukraina has to struggle to get back the leading position that is rare to see. Awesome scrambles in kyshenko’s artistic body strikes and the dangerous high kicks which attacks Joof’s side neck to chop off several times, both goes down the speed in the 3RD. Abbe Joof did a good job to the end of the fight scored high to the world ranker.

-93.8kg K1 Scandinavian king Jorgen Kruth challenging the 3rd mma fight defeated Jaime Flecher TKO knee to the body. Kruth has dominated almost all the games in both standings and the ground positions. Kruth operates the game in the perspective control to the entire games catching the side and shooting the knee strikes to Fletcher’s body on the ground. Fletcher didnt show much of the talent. A easy game for Kruth.

-67kg Swedish boxing legends match George Scott vs Lasse Myrberg. Scott is 42 years old and Myrberg is 44 years old. Two senior boxers challenge the kickboxing fight. Myrberg moves the wonderful speed attacking hard Scott. Hard to believe his age of 44. Scott may need sometime to recall his move struggling a bit in the foot works. Although getting a coupls of low blows George Scott getting back the rythm starts to show the artistic elegant moves attacking back Myrberg which makes the old and young fans happy. They went full round and the judge went to George Scott in 2-1.

-93.8kg Ilir Latifi has lost to Tatsuya Mizuno in knee strikes. Latifi has been made the career in the national Swedish wrestling team, has just suplexed the Brazilan super blackbelt star Shande Ribeiro in ADCC Europe. Latifi has started the mma career in a couple of years ago, loaded up very sharp takedowns besides the excellent wrestling power and the heavy pounds aiming UFC. This time he faces to a Japanese fighter Mizuno from U-File Camp. U-File was founded by Kiyoshi Tamura running several mma gyms in Tokyo. Daisuke Nakamura is welknown integrated fighter from U-File. Mizuno and other Japanese big fighters are not many and they have to look for the fight event in outside country due to the size. Mizuno has been fighting in Pancrase then moved the fight to M1. You may remember his fight to Mirko Crocop in Japan Dream1. Mizuno fires a flying knee to Latifi. Latifi catches Mizuno and slums way big to the mat. What an explotion! Mizuno dead? This gourgeous opening makes fans crazy. And this makes Latifi charged in the monster code and starts to punish Mizuno. Mizuno has to struggle in the deep water of Latifi’s dangerous attacks. People goes more crazy. Soon Mizuno sucking up somehow returns to the game fireing back with heavy knee shots fighting to lead the game. Latifi eating a few knees but doesnt want to give the chance. Pls imagine these guys kicks supposed to have 500 to 600kg weight or more. In the fight soon Latifi succeeds to take the top position raining down the tremendous pounds. The heavy sounds of the strikes run through the arena. Mizuno still alive? But tough Mizuno sucks up all and comes up. 2RD Exchanging big shots Latifi goes takedowns and Mizuno counters with knee strikes. Latifi bleeds but no question to keep going the job. Mizuno catches Latifi in Thai-clinch and hits more knees. In the end Latifi goesn down to the mat. The referee stops the fight. Awesome battle. Best mma match.

Mizuno comment: My back ground? I liked sports but been working as a buisness man in an office. I started training and began my career in Pancrase. I am training in AMC Pancration in Seatle by now. I am relly happy to win this fight burning off my energy in the ring. Latifi looked really powerful much stronger than I am. Before the fight I thought I would lose the game worried a lot. he! he! he! Studying his videos my corner planned to counter knee hits to his takedowns. That worked well! The pounds? I survived somehow, my face is not much damaged though my upper lip got a small cut. You thought I died? ha! ha! ha! I used to fight to big guys. Funny I didnt know I could use knee strikes like this. I will use more knees to my fight(smile). Swedish mma fans are fantastic! It was a big pleasure and really excited to fight in Stockholm. A very well organized event. Thank you Sweden! I want to come back again!

You may remember Gardner in Shinya Aoki fight in DREAM. Gardner tried to do Hello Japan greeting in the choke and got submitted lost the game. Before the fight Engberg joked, “I will let him say Hello Sweden in my choke”. The 1RD Engberg catches Gardner’s back. Gardner escapes. They go back to standing fight. Engberg succeeds to catch the back again. In the end of the round Gardner gets back the top position and catches Engberg in knee bar. 2RD Engberg attacking hard to finish Gardner rains down hard kicks and punches. Gardner starts to get much damage in bleeding and the speed goes down a lot. Doctor stop comes in. Engberg wins in TKO. Engberg shows the stablized integrated techniques.

-70kg Marcus Oberg vs Gago Drago
The Swedish kick prince Oberg squres off the world top ranker Gago Drago who is welknown for his agressive fight. 1RD Oberg hits a clean awesome one-two knee combo to Drago leading the game. Drago rolling up starts to chase Oberg hard. But Oberg sucks up the strong pressure and attacks back hardrer. 2RD Drago works harder but Oberg doesn’t mind blowing off Drago’s big pressure. Upset Drago drops the form and punches go wilder, can not launch the strikes. Oberg keeping the guard tight attacks harder and hits many accurate strikes to lead the game. Amazing Oberg kicks up Drago’s leg and Drago has to roll down to the mat several times. Fans goes crazy. This makes Drago angry but Oberg goes on to continues the job. Eating lots of damages Drago’s attack cuts the air. Oberg proved the spectacular talent against the world ranker Drago and ended the game in 3-0. Best fight!

1RD both fighters test each other nothing much happens. 2RD Brown put the fire on starts to attack. Nordstrand hits a wonderful right and finish Clifton on the mat.
