Hansen has been away from fighting for 1 year and 9 months since Pride vs Jason Ireland. It is Shooto debute for his opponent Mitsuoka(170cm 80Kg WK Gym)who has been winning in Strike Force of GCM(Japanese cage fight) based in 10 years of wrestling. 1RD Mitsuoka shot the single leg take down but Hansen cut it off. Mitsuoka still tuckles and Hansen gets Mitsuoka’s back. Atempting armlock Mitsuoka taking top sits in Hansen’s half guard. Mitsuoka shots pounds. Hansen doesn’t let him pass. 2RD Fireing upper shot in combinations Hansen takes down Mitsuoka. Hansen tries to pass. Both goes to grappling battle to get the better positions. Mitsuoka catches Hansen in guillotine from the top(catch point). Hansen escapes and pounds from half guard. 3RD Attacking in strikes Hansen catches Mitsuoka, performs a big throw and succeeds to take mount. But strong Mitsuoka power-rush and gets back the top position. Hansen attempts triangle, escaping Mitsuoka trys to pass. In second half Hansen tuckles back and succeeds the top position. Hansen attempts passing and pound. Judge point 29-28,29-28,29-29. Mitsuoka won in 2-0 to Hansen.
