Mr. Shirou Kameda, a boxing trainer 42 years old has 3 sons. All of them are boxers, the eldest son Kouki born in 1986 (14-0), the second son Daiki born in 1989 (6-0) and Tomoki born in 1991 an amateur boxer. Boxing became hot sports again because of these young brothers. Although Japan had held 5 boxing world titles in many years ago boxing has lost the fans since losing broadcasting tv stations and sponcers. Brothers were born in Osaka. In TV interviews they often talk inproperly manners. Their vicius talk excites or disturbs people’s nurves which may remind old Mohamed Ali and Mike Tyson. Yes, in a way they might be correct in a traditional proboxing formula. Using media like this Kouki and Daiki became star fighters, they are popular to fill in arena even with many young girls. You can hear girl’s screaming voice in ringside VTR. This is a new wave in Japan. Also Daiki is known to perform karaoke songs to the audience after the fight. The name of Kouki became popular for the fight to Juan Jose Landaeta(20-4-1)from Venezuela in 2006 August. Landaeda has returned to boxing from retirement in 2006. He has shifted the weight down to Light-Fly class verified ranking 1. TV company TBS has put a lot of money to make a big PR. To be success Kameda and Landaeda boxing match made TV rate 38.4% (Jap population 127 million) and surtisfied sponcers . But it didn’t surtisfy peoples. The insident has waited there.

1RD Landaeta has hit a good shot and scored 1 down to Kouki. This made people very skeptical. Our Japanese boxer Kouki not strong? After the down Kouki has tried to hit back but he didn’t succeed much. And the judge went 2-1 Landaeta lost. How did Kouki made points to win? What is the judge doing? Whole arena got confused. This questionable judge called many strong objections in the boxing fans, media and even non boxing fans too. After the fight more than 50.000 claim telephone calls has been dialed to TBS TV company the server went down,of course. 2500 angry fans e-mail has transmitted to Venezuela embassey to apologize the Japanese vicius judge to Landaeta. Many celebs and even professional boxers have claimed the judge. Kouki must fight again to Landaeta. The second fight was signed for 2006 December. Kouki fought good and made 0-3 won the game and made people happy.

Then the younger brother Daiki comes. Let me explain Daiki’s fight record here. His first professiona match Daiki made KO in 1RD 23 second. But the opponent Samart Sithsaithon(0-3-0) was not well verified for the international fight due to his fight record no wins, lost in KO’s and disagressive fights. Or such easy card often happens in the first match.

2006-08-20 Daiki made KO in 1RD 45 second to Wido Paez(2-1-2) totally one side game. After the fight the voice of audience shouting “Fixed! Fixed!” recorded in VTR.

2006-09-27 Daiki won in judge 2-0 to 36 years old Valrio Sanchez(34-17-17). After the fight angry people who didn’t like the judge turned riot and started brawl with the coach Kameda around the ring side.

2006-12-20 Daiki has defeated Mohamed Sadik(0-6-0) in KO 1RD 37 second. In Box Rec Sadik’s record 0-6-0 has many ? marks not verified. I think 0-6-0 is more than questionable for the international fight.

2007-02-24 Daiki has defeated Vicky Tahumil(33-2-2) in KO 3RD 1″18. In VTR 2RD you can see the kind of elbow hit in the body attack to Tahumil. Tahumil goes down to the mat. Referee starts to count. Since the attack Tahumil goes negative fight. 3RD Daiki finishes the game in body blow. And confused people again. Boxing chat turned very busy after the fight. This weird match made Daiki World Rank 10. Tahumil has dropped out from ranking.

2007-04-30 Daiki KOs Christopher Tepura(9-8-5) 2RD 2″21.

After these gray matches 2007 October undefeated Daiki had to face to a WBC World Champion Daisuke Naito (32-2-2). Aj aj, aj, , , There are many people who had never heard the name champion Naito. Actually Daisuke Naito has experienced many difficult years in boxing. In 2002 04-19 He has lost in the title match to the WBC champion Pongsaklek Wonjonkam ( 64-3-0) in the world fastest KO in 34 seconds. Naito didn’t give up but training hard and made the Japanese champion belt and prepaired for return match to Pongsaklek.. Naito applied for the title match again but TV company said no and he couldn’t find sponcers. No money no match. In 2005 July finally TV company said yes. Naito suceeds to defeat Pongsaklek (12RD judge) and recieves the World title for the first time in 5 hard years.

Before the fight Naito has designated Daiki for the next fight. Daiki has responded “Naito has dropped the value of the belt.”and refused the fight. But people wanted to see strong Daiki. The tirle match has taken in 2007 October 11 in Tokyo. Naito and Daiki match has made a success 28.0% (to max 40.9%) rate on TV. Daiki has opened the big mouth announced if he lose to Naito, he would do Harakiri. Tyrone had lived in Japan but never seen Harakiri. But Daiki has lost in 3-0. He repeated many clinches in keeping the tighten guard. His game looked defensive and negative. Daiki has even attacked throwings and elbow hits. People didn’t like the fight at all, especially Daiki’s excessive violations and the underhanded tricks. People also claimed to the TV announcers and commentators of their supportive one sided statements to Daiki. For example, watching Daiki’s elbow hit, he commented “Because he is so young.” It is natural people go nuts. So again after the fight TBS’s net server has gone down in more than 55.000 claim telephone calls. The worst part was VTR evidence. The tape has recorded the voice of cornermen Kameda’s father and Kouki coaching “Strike the groin !” “Elbow to his eyes !”

Daiki didn’t Harakiri after the match. TBS has officially appologized the one lopp sided comments. Today Japanese Boxing Comission has announced 1.Kameda father loses the coaching license for unlimited period. 2.Kouki get scaution. 3.Daiki loses the boxing license for 1 year. 4. The owner of the gym Mr.Kanehira loses the professional boxing license for 3 months. After this scandalous incident Kameda has lost the fame. Today the gym is closed nobody is there, their family car “Hammer” is gone but a hired guardman with 40 paparazzi outside. TV station has made up all these bad “Reality Show” with Kouki and Daiki. Didn’t know one title match needs so much money of sponcers and TV company. I will see how WBC champion Daisuke Naito keeps boxing popular after this disaster.
